Why SHIFT Matters

This project isn’t just about preventing tragedy, though that’s always critical.

It’s about the life we want young people to experience: one that’s filled with connection, support, joy, and fulfillment.

By watching together, families and communities can create safe spaces for open conversations around mental wellbeing, replace fear with hope, and build stronger support networks for the next generation.
